In this lab your race program will be graded. The scheme is the following:
2 pts: Git: Your race program is checked in AND all group members have the appropiate 'info.txt'
2 pts: Move!: You robot crosses the start line
2 pts: Your robot crosses the first line (about 1/3 of the way, quite straight path)
2 pts: Your robot crosses the second line (about 2/3 of the way)
2 pts: Your robot reaches the goal
2 pts: Your robot stops when the bumpers are pressed and starts when button "b0" is pressed.
2 pts: Show a live laser scan message in rviz (1pt) and your rviz_scan.png (1ot).
20% bonus points: Show your live SLAM mapping.
You will have three tries for your race. The first try has to happen in the first hour of the lab!
Race rules: If your robot leaves the track (any part of the circular robot is behind the line between two cones) or the bumper stop is activated, the run will be aborted - all points gained so far will be kept.
You have three tries. Strong recommondation: First try a slow setting to make sure that your get 100% of the points.
Bonus points can be gained if your robot is very fast:
1 pt: First or second in your lab (race against the other 6 teams)
